A Regional Christian Youth Gathering
for youths
6th through 9th grade from the Lutheran and Presbyterian
churches. Each church should have one adult chaperone for each
ten youths and plan to spend the night.
Theme:
The Lord’s Prayers.
Goal is for
the youth gathering is to draw closer to each other and to God.
Cost:
$30.00 for participants, including chaperones.

Senior High Youth Fellowship (SHYF) – REAL LIFE
An opportunity for High school students (grades 9-12) to get together to
explore and experience who Jesus the Christ is, who they are in Christ, who they
are called to be as people of faith. They do this through Sunday morning small
group studies of real life issues, week night gatherings for real life
discipleship, real life interaction with the community through serving, and
retreats and mission trips.
Weekly meeting times and locations vary. Check the calendar for current
week’s schedule.
Every summer there are opportunities for leadership training, internship, and
missions.
Middle School Youth Fellowship (MSYF) –Exploring Truth
Soon to be renamed RPM (Real People in Middle school), this group meets most
Sunday evenings 5:00 pm-6:30 pm and is comprised of students in 6th-8th grade.
Students get together to explore the truth of who Jesus is, and their identity
and purpose as established through a relationship with him. They explore truth
through a variety of experiences including, small group discussions, adventure
opportunities, serving the community, and retreats.
Every summer there is a local missions camp called, Summer Serve. It is open
to all graduating 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. It is planned an led by eight
graders who’ve previously attended summer serve. The camp involves 5 days of
assisting with the programming of Vacation Bible School for grade school
students, and spending afternoons on service projects within the community.
Evenings are spent focusing on the theme of the week. The motto of camp is: Work
hard, Play hard, Study hard, Sleep hard.
Confirmation
Offered to all eligible students in the fall of their eighth grade year. It
is a weekly class that meets on a week night. It is led by the pastor and youth
pastor. Students are instructed in basic theology (Nature of God, Nature of Man,
Nature of Salvation), disciplines of faith (Bible study, Prayer,
Worship/Fellowship, Missions/Evangelism), introduction to Presbyterianism, and
the duties of membership.
