Tracy Tooley came to First Presbyterian Church of Petoskey in the fall of 1996, after serving for two years overseas, mostly in Tanzania with, Wycliffe Bible Translators.  She was serving as a Youth Director in Traverse City when David Van dam told our search committee, chaired by Kathy Biggs, about her.  The committee, impressed at her interview, hired her. She was excited to join the Praise Group at the 9:00AM service, but her first love was the children of our church and all the other churches in our area.  She liked to say that the 10 years she spent in Petoskey was the longest she has lived in one place in her life. She has now returned to Wycliffe and a whole new ministry.
