The mission of the Deacons at First Presbyterian Church is to provide the compassionate hands of Christ within the church and local community.  Beyond providing meals and words of encouragement, our deacons actively participate with the following ministries:  Northern Michigan Regional Hospital, the Scott Hickman Foundation, The Neamiah and Mary Margret Houses, the Manna Project and Brother Dan food pantries, Soup Kitchen, ECOP, and the Salvation Army Christmas Project.
